It's Sunday Morning. Tenchi is trying to cook himself some food, but is failing miserably. He burns the rice, overcooks the vegetables, and gets burned himself in the process. He says that if he doesn't learn to cook soon, he'll starve. He also misses Sasami's home cooking.

Sasami, however, is a wizard and whips up some steak and vegetables instantly. She slices everything to perfection VERY fast. She makes some steak and starts preparing some miso soup. She is done and everything looks elegant.

Yugi is watching from above. She summons three people to appear. Hotsuma, Tsuruga, and Matori appear to her. They are ready to do her bidding.

Tenchi gets a knock on his door. It's Sakuya and she brought some food. She also said that she would take Tenchi around Tokyo since he's new in town and doesn't know the area. She prepares his lunch and tells him to hurry so they can see more sights. However, Ryoko and Ayeka see this because Tenchi's comforter isn't folded all the way. Sasami tells them that breakfast is ready, but they tell her to mind her own business. They start shouting, but Tenchi realizes that they can see, so he and Sakuya get ready to leave. He tells her that the noise is coming from next door.

Washu shows up and Ryoko and Ayeka tell her that there is a partial opening and want her to make it bigger. She tells them that she can't do that, so Ryoko uses her full power to blast her way through. She is, however, unsuccessful. Tenchi sees this and isn't too happy. He and Sakuya leave while Ryoko and Ayeka try to use kitchen utensils to pry the exit open. Ryo-oki walks by and both Ayeka and Ryoko realize that Ryo-oki may be small enough to fit through so they try and force her through the gateway.

Sakuya and Tenchi are walking around Tokyo. They play video games, eat snacks while Ryo-oki is screaming in agony because she can't fit. Sasami wants them to stop because they are hurting her. She asks Washu to make them stop, but she knows she can't.

Sakuya and Tenchi are continuing their walking tour and decide to take a shortcut. They walk through an alley way as some fog appears. Some fog dissipates as they see a castle. They go in, but the doors close behind them. Hotsuma appears to them as the kids apologize for intruding. Hotsuma tells them not to worry as he is having a party and invites both Tenchi and Sakuya. He explains that the house is called the "Manor of Vows." It used to belong to royalty, but a princess fell in love with a servant. Because their statures were so different, they wouldn't be allowed to be married. Instead, they pledged their eternal love and took their own lives. Hotsuma says that people who pledge their love at the manor are bound together for eternity. He also says rumors spread and that many people have searched for it, but only a handful of people find it and because of this, some call it the "Phantom Manor." He excuses himself, but two sets of doors open. Sakuya is pulled into one set while Tenchi is pulled into the other. Hotsuma's eyes are glowing to show that he is responsible for what just transpired.

Ayeka and Ryoko give up trying to push Ryo-oki through. Ryo-oki is in pain and her rear end is glowing read. Ayeka grabs a fork and prods Ryo-oki. That's enough to get her through and make the opening big enough for Ayeka and Ryoko to pass through. Ryoko tells Ryo-oki to find Tenchi. They get close and eventually pass through the same fog bank.

Tenchi is standing in front of a vestibule wearing a tuxedo. Sakuya appears in a wedding dress. Both are shocked that they are dressed that way. Hotsuma appears and tells them that this is their wedding party. Sakuya, of course, is ecstatic while Tenchi is reluctant. Hotsuma tells them that since this is the Manor of Vows, all he has to do is pledge his eternal love to Sakuya and they will be together - forever.

Ryoko, Ryo-oki, and Ayeka continue their search.

Hotsuma begins the ceremony. Sakuya is VERY ready to pledge her love, but Tenchi isn't because it's too soon and doesn't feel that they need to be married for this to happen. Hotsuma has heard enough and begins to force Tenchi to say the pledge.

The girls eventually come upon the Manor of Vows. Ryoko, however, can't pass through the door. Instead, she blasts her way through and interrupts the ceremony. This pulls Tenchi out of his trance. He is shocked to find them there, but they are shocked that he is about to be married.

Hotsuma takes Sakuya hostage. He says that people who don't pledge their eternal love will receive eternal suffering from him. Tenchi asks Ayeka and Ryoko to help, but they refuse. Tenchi attempts to save Sakuya, but Hotsuma tells him that he will spend the rest of eternity regretting that he couldn't save her. Hotsuma says that he is taking Sakuya with him and strikes Tenchi. This is enough to set Ryoko and Ayeka off and they go after Hotsuma. Hotsuma and Ryoko go outside and fight. Hotsuma is impressed with Ryoko and leaves.

The manor disappears and the crew are returned to normal. Sakuya just had the time of her life and wants to know who the girls are. Tenchi says that they are the cast of the "Monster Busters" video game. Sakuya is VERY impressed, but Ayeka finds her a bit strange.
