Tenchi in Tokyo Episode 11: Moon Mission (After the Reprimand, Running Away From Home and Into Space, Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow)
Sasami is cooking dinner in the kitchen. Ryo-oki is sneaking around in the kitchen. She sees a bowl of carrots and tries to get one, but Sasami catches her and scolds her. Sasami tells Ryo-oki that the kitchen is too dangerous for her and tells her to leave. Ayeka and Ryoko are fighting over who should eat the last rice cake that Tenchi sent. Both of them had 25 and the person who gets the last one will be Tenchi's love. Ayeka and Ryoko are tearing the place apart. Ryoko uses her power and hits the top of a giant Buddha statue which promptly splits in half. The girls put it back together and place the rice cake on top. Ryo-oki, who is hungry, tries to get the cake, but slips, causing the statue to split again. Ryoko and Ayeka set Ryo-oki up. Sasami, after hearing the commotion (surprised she didn't hear Ayeka and Ryoko fighting), sees the broken statue and scolds Ryo-oki for breaking it. Ryo-oki denies breaking the statue, but Sasami tells Ryo-oki to quit lying. Ayeka and Ryoko come in and tell Sasami that they saw Ryo-oki break the statue. Sasami demands that Ryo-oki tell the truth, but she runs away instead. Katsuhito has returned from the shrine and Sasami is waiting for him apologizing for what happened to the statue. Katsuhito tells Sasami that Ryo-oki could not have broken the statue because she isn't powerful enough to make such a clean cut. He also says that he was going to appraise the statue for a friend who said that it was solid gold, but since it was split, it revealed that it was a wood statue painted with gold leaf. Ryoko and Ayeka, who are sitting on the couch, whisper that Katsuhito should be thanking them for revealing the damage. However, they do not realize that Katsuhito heard them and he yells at the two girls. Sasami is upset for not having enough faith in Ryo-oki and wishes she would return. Ryo-oki is sitting by the lake, crying. She hears a "myaw" and looks up to see a gray, male cabbit. He tells her to follow him. The go up to the top of a cliff. The male transforms into his ship mode and motions Ryo-oki to follow. She transforms and follows him to the moon. Upon arrival. Ryo-oki sees several holes in which other cabbits appear with carrots. Ryo-oki is excited and joins her new friends. Yugi is watching the events transpire. She tells the male cabbit, Yu-Oki, that Ryo-oki will now stay on the moon. Tenchi is walking home from school and wondering why Sakuya hasn't shown up in three days. Before he can continue his thought, Mihoshi and Kiyone show up in their patrol ship and beam Tenchi up to take him back to Osaka. Back at home, Sasami is yelling at both Ayeka and Ryoko for not telling the truth about the statue. Ayeka apologizes, but insults Ryoko in the process. Ryoko is not pleased with the remark and the two begin fighting. Tenchi tells them to stop and they calmly sit down and drink some tea. Kiyone tells Tenchi that it's been this way since they got back from patrol three days ago. Mihoshi thinks that Ryo-oki disappearance is the work of "Wargon." (the villain in "Super Police Policemen.") Sasami starts crying hysterically. Tenchi suggests they speak with Washu. Washu, dressed like Sherlock Holmes, has two methods of find out out what happened to Ryo-oki. One is a computer program called the Timer Monitor that can track residual brain waves to track someone down. The other is a US esper pellet that, when taken, will cause the user to transform itself into an esper. However, when used, the person will sleep for 4 years and 3 months. The gang decides on the Time Monitor, but Washu says "Really? If that's what you want."Washu puts on a helmet (looks like a colander) on her head and strains to find out what happened to Ryo-oki. She discovers that Ryo-oki has gone to the moon. The gang is surprised by this. Washu also discovers that someone is with her and can NOT return. Kiyone thinks that this is a kidnapping case and if she solves it, she'll get promoted to HQ. Mihoshi, however, thinks that it's still the work of Wargon.Kiyone volunteers herself and Mihoshi to travel to the moon and "rescue" Ryo-oki. Sasami wants to go regardless, Ryoko wants to "breathe the fresh-air of space" again, and Ayeka wants to go to keep an eye on Ryoko. Everyone blasts off to the moon. Ayeka and Ryoko start arguing right away. Kiyone wants to know why everyone else had to come. They land on the moon wearing suits that make them look like cabbits. After taking the obligatory group picture, Washu tells them she likes to dress the part and feels that if they dress like Ryo-oki, they'll understand how she feels. Tenchi couldn't go because his weight would put them over the ships mass limit, but he still wants to know why he has to dress like a cabbit. Kiyone tells Mihoshi to start the ships video recorder. She'll use it as proof of their victory and get promoted to HQ. She starts documenting their journey, but the rest of the group has already left her behind. In a panic, Kiyone runs after them, but trips on a rock. Thanks to the moon's lack of gravity, she flies a good distance before landing. The girls find her on the ground and a cabbit comes from under her. It's Ryo-oki. Sasami is excited to see her pet, but she runs off into a hole. Sasami tells Ryo-oki that she understands that she's still upset, but wants to make amends. Before Sasami can approach Ryo-oki, more cabbits come from the ground. Sasami can't tell which is the real Ryo-oki. Kiyone tells Sasami that she should be able to find the real Ryo-oki. The rest of the group encourages her to find her. Sasami stands in front of the group of Ryo-oki's and apologizes to hers. She walks amongst the group and picks up one. She picked the right one and the reunion begins, but is short-lived. Yu-oki starts growling. He does not want Ryo-oki to leave. It starts siphoning power from the other cabbits and mutates into a giant version of itself. Ryo-oki turns into her pink "carabot" stage and begins to battle with Yu-oki. Kiyone tells Mihoshi to begin firing at Yu-oki. They do and that distracts him enough to be knocked down by Ryo-oki. Ryo-oki is about to fire her laser, but Yu-oki disappears. The gang is on their way back to earth. Mihoshi tells Kiyone that the ship recorder taped "Super Police Policemen" just fine. Kiyone starts to sulk immediately. At Yugi's fortress, Yu-oki looks like he's been beaten up. Yugi thanks him for his effort and crushes a crystal. Yu-oki screams as he disappears. Yugi then says "Nothing's ever easy, is it?" Back at the house, Sasami is cooking food. Ryo-oki comes in and tries to sneak some food. Sasami catches her and says "That's not for you!" She then shows another plate full of food and says "This one is for you." Ryo-oki is happy. Kiyone, however, is not. It's time to make their usual report. The patrol ship flies by and tells them to give their report. Mihoshi reports that there isn't anything to report. Kiyone sees the ship fly by and starts getting more upset. She missed her chance at a promotion (again) and wants to go back to headquarters. |
