Sasami wants to know who called her. She sees Yugi. Yugi asks Sasami to meet her by the lake tomorrow night. She asks if she can bring Ryo-oki. Yugi says yes, but Sasami MUST be there.

Yugi wakes up from her dream. Matori wants to know what dream she was having. Yugi says that she was saying hello to a friend and that she would come over tomorrow to play. She says that the ties to the family have become brittle and that she's going to smash them - personally.

Sasami is hanging out some laundry. She is in a good mood. Ryo-oki is curious. Sasami tells her that she saw a friend in a dream last night.

Tenchi and a classmate and doing some martial arts. Tenchi wins the point, but hears his name being called. He looks out the window and sees two girls hold Sakuya in place. Sakuya looks very embarrassed. The coach comes up from behind and whacks them across the head with a megaphone. Tenchi kinda likes what's going on and thanks his Dad again. His opponent sneaks up behind him and they start training again.

On a bullet train, Nobuyuki is staring out the window. "Go for it, Tenchi, my boy..." he thinks. "Youth is in the springtime of life, and it only comes around once. Sing the praises of this world's spring purely, properly, and beautifully with the one you love. "That's your father's wish. And the best part is, she doesn't fly or shoot out light beams!"

Ryoko is standing in a tree. She tries to practice some martial arts, but can't. She wonders if it's because Tenchi isn't around. She regains her composure, but not for long. She hears another voice and it's Hotsuma. They begin to fight. Sasami sees what's going on, but doesn't care. She's going to the lake.Ryoko and Hotsuma continue to fight. Ryoko is still mad for what he did to Tenchi. Hotsuma tells her that it's kind of jealousy on his part and that he's sorry. Ryoko doesn't seem to believe him. The have each other in a catch-22. Hotsuma tells Ryoko that they are kindred spirits. He says that he won't lay a hand on Tenchi again. He says that he wants to do all that he can to make Ryoko happier than Tenchi can. Ryoko doesn't understand. Ryoko asks Hotsuma if he's got the hots for her. She says that she's already spoken for, but she can introduce Hotsuma to a "hog" named Ayeka. Hotsuma tells Ryoko to go home. Something has happened to Tenchi. That's the reason he wanted to speak to Ryoko. He then disappears as a storm begins.

Katsuhito notices the storm and the color of the clouds. He thinks that something bad is about to happen.

Nobuyuki is back at the house scared out of his mind. Ryoko looks pissed. The girls demand to know why Nobuyuki patched things up between Sakuya and Tenchi. Washu is the only one who approves of it. Ayeka just looks at Nobuyuki and smiles. Azaka and Kamidake have tied Tenchi's father up and are whipping him.

Ryoko thinks that Tenchi and Sakuya are doing "this...and THAT!" Kiyone is shocked and doesn't think Tenchi is doing anything like "THAT." Washu says that Tenchi's a man and can do what ever he wants and that if Sakuya "were to use her feminine wiles..." Ayeka screams out "THEY'RE DOING IT! I knew it! Those two are doing it!" Using Mihoshi as a springboard, Ayeka tries to go through the dimensional tunnel, but it's blocked. Matori has the comforter folded and is painting her nails. Ryoko tells Nobuyuki to give her money to buy a train ticket to Tokyo. Ayeka demands that Washu make her a flying machine that will get her to Tenchi's in three seconds. Mihoshi just starts to cry.

Yugi is watching from above. The crystals that represent the Masaki family fly apart.

Giant crystals from around the Masaki residence. The family wants to know what's going on, but Katsuhito tells them to wait inside.

Sasami is at the lake with Funaho. She wonders if Yugi will show up, but then realizes that it was all just a dream, but Yugi appears. Yugi also appears to the Masaki family.

Sakuya is dragging Tenchi to a restaurant. He tells her not to rush, but Sakuya is having too much fun.

Yugi introduces herself to the "rabble" of the Masaki family. She tells them to offer themselves up for the new world. Ryoko doesn't like being threatened and pisses off Yugi who fires a blast at the family. They scatter.

Sasami and Yugi are playing in the forest. Sasami and Ryo-oki are jumping rope while Sasami sings. Yugi wants to join in, but trips.

The family is running away from Yugi. Washu asks Katsuhito what's going on. He doesn't know, but thinks that if they combine the family's powers, they could win. Yugi tells the family to quit hiding, but Ryoko comes out and attacks.Sasami and Yugi and playing with string. Yugi asks Sasami if she's having fun. She says she is because Yugi came. Yugi says that she's having fun. Sasami suggests they go pick flowers.

Yugi has her hand in Ryoko's neck. She scolds Ryoko for getting Yugi personally involved in this. She then fires a blast that goes through Ryoko's neck. Tenchi feels something strange. Sakuya asks if anything is wrong. He says that it's nothing and asks her to continue her story. She talks about her friends always badgering her about whether or not she likes Tenchi.

Ryoko wonders how she could be taken out so easily. Her crystal starts to shine as does everyone elses. Yugi wonders how they could have so much power. Yugi faints and Sasami runs to her side. She says that she's alright. She also says that she's been in this world for too long. Ryoko fires several energy blasts at Yugi, but they have no effect. Yugi fires a shot at Ryoko, but Hotsuma blocks it as Tsuruga knocks Yugi back. Yugi leaves and the crystals she's created disappear.

Hotsuma tells Ryoko that they'll meet again and he and Tsuruga leaves. Katsuhito thinks that someone is involving the family in some vast plot.

Sasami wakes up by the lake. She thinks it was all a dream. She wakes Ryo-oki up and they head back to the house.

Tenchi is at his apartment and decides to call home. No one answers the phone due to exhaustion and Ryoko destroys the phone.

Yugi reappears and is out of breath. Matori tells her that she would've won if she wasn't split in two. Yugi says that it's possible, but she didn't want Sasami to see. Matori also says that both Tsuruga and Hotsuma earned Ryoko's trust. Yugi tells Sasami that she had fun.
