Ported over the three movie summaries from the old site. That's all.

Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo Episode Summaries Ported

Fully ported over episode summaries from Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo. The old summaries were in an ugly text file format with manual line breaks so to convert them into XHTML, I hacked together a php script full of regex that pulled the necessary information from the files to create the pages.

Setting up Episode Summaries

Nothing really significant done today, but nevertheless some work was accomplished:

Added sitemaps to the forum

Added the Kagato bios (from what GTL wrote in the old wiki)

Set up the Episode Summaries pages and ported episode 1 of Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo

MIDIs, Series Guide, Locations

I got a few more things accomplished:

Ported over MIDIs and renamed a few filenames to better reflect the songs.

Ported over the series guide. However, I left OVA 3 information blank since our old page was so outdated.

Ported over the Jurai page under the Locations link.

I think this is enough for today.

How to Draw ported

Ported over the How to Draw Characters page. Although not all the tutorials are complete, we do have drawing tutorials for Ryoko, Sasami, Mihoshi, and Ryo-ohki.

If you can contribute to this, let me know!

Now Public!

Well, I decided that since this new site has more content than the crappy old wiki site, it should be on the front pages instead.

The old image gallery has been fully ported. The Character Images and Screen Captures are now accessible.

Please note that there are still many holes as we try to fill in some content. Stay tuned!

Image Gallery Port

The old image gallery we use is about 5 years outdated and the perl script doesn't even exist anymore. I'm actually one of the last few who actually have a copy of Image Arcadia. There are many advantages to using more modern image gallery solutions such as Gallery so I decided it was time to switch.

I half of today setting up the script and getting it to look right. I spent the other half porting over images from the old gallery. So far I have all of the character and group images completed. I am working on the screen captures and have up to episode 11 of Tenchi Muyo completed.

Characters Biographies Ported

Spent today porting over the characters biographies. There are still a few missing ones:

Azusa

Kagato

Tokimi

Matori

Tsugaru

which hopefully can be picked up soon. Most of the character biography images are also missing at the moment. Since the biographies are of low quality, there are plans to rewrite every one of them.

Finally, I ported over the contact us page which should be redone for better accuracy.

New Tenchi Site! Again?!

Yep! You heard right! I finally got around to redesigning Tenchi in Tokyo (this site) around this new backend called Drupal. It seems to be a really powerful solution to managing a site, and it's on the cutting edge of open source development and internet technology. It is certain better than the two wiki solutions I tried using right before this (*tries to block out that memory*). So, this is more of like a fan-site with a community now. In the coming weeks, more content will be added and soon, new features will debut!
